Men
Dr. Stephen Colbert (Numero Uno) was the first creation of God.
The second was a living room for Stephen to relax in while he finished all the other stuff, mostly America, bears (for sport), and the Earth.
Women
Woman was God's last creation - After God realized what a huge disaster his first creation was, he took the only good thing from the first(Stephen's rib) and created his most beautiful and prized creation: the Woman. He endowed her with brains and multi-tasking skills because his first creation was starving, cold, and hiding under rocks from his lack of survival skills.
Language and Entertainment
The first-creation (known in Genesis as "the mistake") has no communication skills.
